Custom Orders

I will be glad to take your request for a piece of jewelry custom made to your specifications. Please see below for what information I will need from you to start this process. Please understand that once an agreement is reached (with either a signed agreement or it's acknowledged in an email), there are no refunds of any part of the cost, nor can the custom piece be returned for a refund. Any changes requested and made after the agreement may also have an additional charge.

Email me with a request for a custom jewelry piece with the following information:

  • What do you want-necklace, bracelet, earrings, or something else?
  • What are your preferences for color?
  • Do you want a particular type of gemstone used?
  • What size do you want your piece of jewelry to be?
  • We can either talk or email back and forth until I have a good idea of what you'd like.

The Process

  1. We agree on the design and materials to be used
  2. I will research the cost and availability of pieces, & determine time required to make, and target deliverable date barring any unforeseen circumstances (death in family, injury, shippers' strike, etc.)
  3. Cost will include cost of materials and labor. There is an additional 'Rush' charge if you want it sooner. Customer agrees to cost, design, size, and stones used (quality specified if known-grade of stones). Any changes after agreement is signed will have an additional charge (change in size, stones, clasp, etc.).
  4. We will agree either by email, or if customer requests, a signed agreement by snail-mail.
  5. Customer sends non-refundable 50% payment before work starts and components are ordered. Cost is non-refundable and piece is non-returnable.
  6. I will email fotos of final piece to the customer for final approval, if approved, final payment sent by customer, then piece is shipped.

Types of Custom Work

  1. A piece of jewelry on my web site but with different stones, or possibly a different size
  2. Custom piece to match an outfit (best is to send a small snippet of material from a hem if possible without damaging your outfit; second best is to send a foto through snail mail-colors can appear differently on different computers)
  3. Can remake a customer's piece using stones from a piece of jewelry that a customer has that is missing the other earring, change size of necklace or bracelet, etc.
  4. Make jewelry pieces for a wedding party for Bride and attendants
  5. Can make a piece of Jewelry for a customer or for the customer to use as a gift
